“No She Ain’t Lazy” by Scotty Allen is a charming, light-hearted song that celebrates a partner’s laid-back nature while emphasizing their unwavering support during tough times. The song revolves around the theme of love and appreciation for a “lazy lady” who knows how to relax but steps up when needed. It blends playful lyrics with tender moments, making it relatable to those who value both the fun and supportive aspects of a relationship. The melody is likely upbeat, matching the affectionate tone of the lyrics.

I’d like to ask you to take a closer look at the growing phenomenon that’s earning Colorado a new reputation as the ‘California of the Rockies.’ Once known for its breathtaking mountain views and thriving outdoor sports culture, Colorado is now becoming a powerhouse in the music industry, rivaling the West Coast in creativity and influence.

Experts say the state’s unique blend of natural beauty, vibrant cities, and a growing community of artists is creating a perfect storm for musical innovation.

Denver, in particular, has seen an explosion in music festivals, recording studios, and live venues, attracting talent from across the country.

Musicians are flocking to the Mile High City, drawn by the opportunity to collaborate with other creatives and tap into the region’s distinct energy.

The movement is being led by a new radio station based out of centennial Colorado, K4CO Radio invites Colorado recording artists with blending genres and pushing boundaries, much like the pioneers who put California on the map decades ago. From indie rock to electronic music, Colorado is producing chart-topping hits and influencing trends nationwide.

In addition to Denver, smaller cities like Boulder, Fort Collins, and Colorado Springs are also seeing a surge in musical activity.

The state’s legalization of marijuana has added another layer of appeal, with some calling Colorado the new cultural epicenter for free-spirited, boundary-pushing creativity.

Local businesses are also thriving as the music scene grows, with new venues and record stores popping up, and tourism getting a significant boost.

It seems everyone wants a taste of what Colorado has to offer, and the state is embracing its new identity with open arms. As the state continues to climb the charts, some are beginning to ask: Could Colorado actually surpass California as the top destination for music and creativity?

While only time will tell, one thing is certain—Colorado is no longer just the gateway to the Rockies; it’s becoming the gateway to the future of music.L

Looks like the sound of the Rockies is the sound of tomorrow!”

You Said by Scotty Allen

“You Said” is my latest solo release, well actually it hasn’t been released yet, because this is the demo version.

It is a song about a difficult relationship between a son and his father, the one singing is the son.

I plan to finish it soon, however I am currently working on other projects with my friends from the Blue Collar Artist group.

East Virginia Studios (in Macon GA) and I are working on a song called “A Wonderful Way” and it’s nothing like anything either of us have worked on yet, it is probably going to be released sometime in April of 2024!

Shaun Lennon (in Perth Australia) and I are working on a song called “Tropical Daiquiri Nights” using some music that I wrote and recorded back in the early 2000’s, I am interested in seeing how that is going to turn out.

And finally, Wes Herndon (Florida) and I are working on writing a song about brothers. It will be a Wes Herndon styled acoustic guitar duet, between brothers (at least at this point, we started this today)

Once I have a newer version up, I will create a page for that and you” get the email (that is as long as you are subscribed)

I would love to hear what you think of my song also, which means you need to subscribe!

Thanks!

Scotty Allen
